I bought this book at the museum gift shop, when I was in Chicago viewing the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. This is a fascinating look at the dietary life of the Hebrews, what they ate, how they ate and why they ate what they did. It is full of incredible recipes using ingredients of the time.
