sparklehoof2 Thanks for your question. I'm not sure what it's made from- it is hand made made and doesn't have a label. The material is interesting, it's thin, but has a good amount of weight so it drapes well and is perfect for twirling. I'm allergic to wool and it doesn't irritate my skin. The fabric doesn't seem to pill or create much static electricity. The closest comparison would a tapestry or long heavy Victorian curtains.
