A Joy Vintage Style Pocket Book Purse Hard Side Crossbody Weird Handbag As-Is

This is one of the weirdest purses I have ever seen. I thought I could do some research and find something close, but nothing has the same little brand tag on it. I can't even guarantee it is a brand tag. It says Joy on it and that's all. This piece is very narrow and very much what my grandmother would have called a "pocketbook" back in the day. It is hard sided and has a wavy acrylic panel on the front that looks like a counter top. the one side of the panel does not have a gold trim piece, but it looks like it is meant to be that way. The flap comes over from back to front and slides over a clip which you then would snap to the side to secure the purse. the two top handles are hard plastic but this does have hooks for a shoulder or crossbody strap to be added. It has a poke mark in the back and the gold tone accents really need a good polish. It is 12" wide at the bottom and 8" tall. I would guess you would be the only one with a purse like this.
