carribeanjewels @matana So I have just one 😁 The photo of 3 was his brothers and him when I picked him out. He is very sweet because I have raised him from 5 months old, he can and has bitten and it does hurt really bad They have the psi pressure just like an alligator 🤪

carribeanjewels @matana The last photo is of a rescue Lory I had, named Marley. He was awesome but passed away that was when I got the Cockatoo. Lorie's are nectar eaters and do not eat seed. He was a very smart little guy. My Cockatoo is extremely smart and yes he talks. I have videos of him singing "Let the Bodies hit the floor" by Drowning Pool 😁 on YouTube. matana @carribeanjewels but can you trust him not to bite you? This is scary. What about hormonal season? Does he gets aggressive? I saw a YouTube bird trainer she is saying cockatoos can be very hard to deal with and it’s the one birds she is afraid of.

carribeanjewels @matana You have to read their body language and yes hormonal season is the worse. They are like having a 3 year old for the rest of your life. I personally would not recommend getting one. I love him dearly but they are alot of work and very unpredictable. They bond with one person and will attack others. We are lucky he loves me and my husband equal but we take turns with him and raised him from a baby

matana @carribeanjewels yes, body language is the key with all birds. My Pionus is a character, he is very hormonal but I know when we balance his diet it helps tremendously. Truth is I’m madly in love with birds but I feel they are not meant to be caged. Mine are out most of the day and I try to let them fly, but if I see they get too agriscience that’s I trim them and let them calm down for a bit. I also use animal communication to help with behavioral issues. Did you ever try that?

carribeanjewels @matana Yes if we are home Jojoe is out of his house. I hate leaving him locked up. I hate to see that. He fly's all over the place in the front room I don't believe in clippings the wings either I actually wanted a Pionus before I got Jojoe I think they are very cool too I am in love with Birds as well 😁❤️

matana @carribeanjewels my Senegal does it I. A aler in the morning. I take her out and place tissue on her window perch and ask her to go and she does it. She is super smart and funny. Loves to dance and calls me mommy. She talks but very few words at the moment.

My friend had a macaw and he was awesome but I actually only had 4 cockatiels and 2 parakeets.. but they were all amazing.. way smarter than people give them credit for.. 2 of my cockatiels would say their names, whistle the Mexican Hat Dance song and called me "my Momma" it was too cute oh my. Lol technically my biggest birds were chickens lol.. I had 3 hens that walked into my house, climbed...

matana @carribeanjewels I’m afraid I’ve created a monster, my Sennie stayed up super late last night, she didn’t want to let go of her new dried corn on the cob she got from this bird’s shop of yours. She even tried to bite me when I tried removing her from it. 😳 And my Pionus is madly inly in love with his new bell toy he got from them. 😅😅😅😅

carribeanjewels @matana yes I usually use newspaper but with the shut down I bought some paper from Amazon and I lay the papers down in layers. So threw out the day I pull a layer up and throw away. I like to keep Jojoe area clean to. If you stay on top of it then not so hard to keep clean 😁
