A Sari Blouse, or Choli

A Sari Blouse, or Choli is a blouse traditionally worn with a Sari that compliments it. When I found this piece, I pictured wearing with jeans; then I wondered, in a culturally sensitive way, if it might be disrespectful to wear with jeans. So I went to Quora and asked “Is wearing a sari when your a non Indian considered cultural appropriation?” The general consensus was that “No it’s not cultural appropriation. None of us feel offended if you wear a sari. If anything, it makes us feel extremely happy to be Indian.”. There were many more similar positive answers. I think this Choli is beautiful and awesome.
