A magazine curated by Maison Margiela book

First printed in 2004, the issue returns in 2021 as a subversive statement of creativity for a new decade. Compiled via a series of faxes and photocopies, the personal work of Maison Martin Margiela's extended community was united in a collective expression of their avant-garde spirit and their individuality. All at once, their unique personalities were revealed from behind the curtain of anonymity that the house had kept closed for nearly two decades. Faces hidden behind masks and bodies hidden behind white lab coats were acknowledged, celebrated and validated for their own experimentation, excellence and power of expression. A sense of postmodern creation can be found across its pages, as each contributor navigated their place in the house's antithetical approach to high fashion at the turn of the 21st century.
