hoarderhaven all the men in my family for hundreds of years were Greek orthodox priest so it has meaning to me. my grandfather was the first one to ever break the tradition when he came to this country, dropped out of theology school, and became a musician in vaudeville instead...

a_mcgarity @hoarderhaven I am a rabid collector of all things middle -ages and even better the early Catholic religion. I actually have a BA in Religious Studies from McGill University in Montreal. It’s just all so fascinating!

hoarderhaven @a_mcgarity I took religious studies at Santa Barbara cc in the 60s but I was young to understand. Little did I know id have visions of Jesus years to follow. I would kill to go to Montreal. Trying my whole life to get there, Alaska etc. did u live there, what was it like? saw documentary on the Travel Channel about Ed and Lorraine Warren they were devout Catholics. My dad was Jewish but did not raise me Jewish he left when I was 2. I was traumatized by the Catholic Church in boarding school
