ESTATE FIND ADAM POTTERY ENGLANDSHIP CAROLINE PINK LUSTER PUNCH BOWL (1896-1910 ERA) I offer a striking English punch bowl decorated with black transfers of a sailing ship and the Seal of the United States Eagle motifs on a white ceramic ground with a vivid sunderland luster style pink banding to the interior of the bowl. The interior of the bowl features the American sailing ship Caroline afloat on a teal green sea. The exterior of the bowl features on two sides the banner reading "James Leech" under an American Eagle with thirteen starred feathers and a banner of "E Pluribus Unum".The motif titled "The Shipwrights Arms" alternates the eagle motif and features two men flanking a cartouche. The bowl is by Adams Pottery of England and dates from 1896 to 1910. The bowl measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and approximately 4 1/8 inches in height. The pink luster banding is vivid with no paint loss and all the colors are equally vivid. Pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
