Allen Edmonds plain toe Derby Size 8.5 E Model:  Lambert Handmade in the USA The condition of these elegant shoes is Excellent: the leather uppers have no nicks, no scratches, no stains. The expected creasing across the front is minimal. The heel box, both top edge and interior, is very good. The wear to the leather and rubber soles and heels is moderate (these are not in need of new soles). I think a Derby shoe is slightly more practical than an Oxford, and slightly less elegant. Practical because it allows for some adjystment in size. Our feet swell as the day drags on, and an Derby - with open lacing - easily allows for a size adjustment (in a way that an Oxford dies not). A Derby for all day, an Oxford  for a few hours. Enjoy
