ALBERTA FERRETTI ITALIAN RUNWAY, SILK GOWN & SLIP. OFF WHITE. W-42/8 WITH TAGS. Simply incredible. Original runway with tags still on gown and slip. All silk. It’s a gorgeous color, just slightly off white (like the color of pure whipped cream). The gown is size 8 and the slip is size 10 (assume for extra room). Please note that this is an Italian handmade dress, so sizing is true to size. The flower pin attachment is also silk. There are two tiny dots on the front left shoulder area where the pin is, if you were to take the flower off. The shoulder seam has a couple threads missing, as shown in the last photo (fast three or 4 thread stitch). A small couple stitch strap is loose in the same area. The waist down is a thicker silk fabric. There is a zip closure on the side. I recently had the gown measured by a seamstress - not exact but close. Approx length from top of shoulder to floor is 62-1/2”. Top seam of shoulder to waist approx 17”. Hips at widest approx 21”. Under arm to under arm bust approx 16”. Waist to floor approx 47-1/2”. Waist across approx 14-1/2”. I can’t say enough about the unique design, quality of the stitching and the color and vibrancy of this gown. It’s really breathtaking. It’s never been worn and has always been hanged in a garment bag. It will need to be steamed a tad, upon receipt.
