A Marine Corps friend of mine brought this back Afghanistan and gave it to me in 2005. I never, ever wore because i do not wear real fur but I did not want to turn down a gift from a dear friend with PTSD. ❓I do not have a clue what this fur is, (told it is rabbit) 💰💰I am listing it higher because a local animal rescue is in DIRE NEED OF FUNDS💰💰. 🐾❤️EVERY DIME MADE ON THIS WILL BE DONATED TO GO RESCUE IN VIRGINIA BEACH 🐾❤️ 🐕🐈🐾❤️ NEED DRY CLEANED, SMELLS LIKE SMOKE.

lmpasternack @lalalover12 very very soft. Feels kind of like mink. But I don't know fur real well. I had a coat with a mink collar once. But I have no idea what it is or what is typically used over there.

lmpasternack @chipmunksoledad I donate all the time. One in particular is my favorite as she always takes the dogs that will be otherwise be killed and rehabilitates them in record time! Go Rescue in Virginia Beach. I love her and have 2 dogs from there myself. I have my own mini rescue. They are all seniors but 1 who is a happy little Heinz 57 beauty with one eye. She turns 3 in August! They are "our kids" I'm sure you can relate to that as an animal lover yourself.

jenniferf76 Beautiful coat, but like you I refuse to wear real fur. Bless you for being an animal lover and for doing what you can to help. I went to school to be a vet tech and also took Wildlife Conservation classes until I had my autistic son & decided I was going to be a stay at home mom. I still donate and try to be as much of an advocate as I can. I've always believed that people who love animals have good hearts. Thank you for being one of those people.

shelpen good for you. I feel the same way about animals. I give to our local Humane Society regularly by paying $50 for a cake and never going to pick it up! I love animals more than most people 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

z_ladybug Thank you for posting this. Great idea! I have a fur coat I inherited from my mom when she passed 6 years ago. Been in the back of my closet ever since. I rescued 3 kitties just over a year ago and the cost has been more than expected. I don’t regret it though. Two of them wouldn’t be alive if I hadn’t. There’s a couple of no kill cageless cat shelters in my area that I’d like to help also. Would be a good use of this coat. Will list soon. Good luck to you!

z_ladybug @lmpasternack that sounds great! I have caught, spayed/neutered, and released 7 other wild cats in the past. Had a neighbor that thought it was a good idea to bring home (without fixing) every stray cat she found! Guess she knew I’d take care of her problem! Overrun neighborhood. Now under control with healthy fixed cats. $ running low now though. That’s a great idea with the scentsy.

I don't understand why people wouldn't spay their animals. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But yes, I'm retired Navy and have a pension so I sell scentsy because I love it and I'm passionate about helping non profit rescues. This month I'm doing one for a Veteran's Home. My first "human" fundraiser in 6 years of doing them.

Then, although NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING OR WEARING REAL FUR EVER...NEVER, EVER, EVER...I can't just scroll past. It may sound crazy, but I HAVE to ac knowledge their barbarically lost lives and silently apologize to ALL the many, many lives that were RUTHLESSLY butchered to make these SHAMEFUL garments.
