This type of necklace was sold to me as “pressed Amber” it is beads REAL amber This is Vtg and SC on each piece. This one has white swirls It feels slightly waxy but is molded into bead shapes white swirls. Treated Amber I’m not sure. Very waxy feeling white swirls with purity stamp and logo SC Under blacklight it still lights up a lot but would much more if it was faceted for fluorescence. Please see pictures below for full description. I will get better blacklight pics.

phillex @bj_perkins sadly this is not amber as you can see in the first few pictures it has a seem, showing that these plastic beads were molded into that shape, amber beads like this would not have a seem like that, also this amber should have a pine scent when you rub the bead

phillex @bj_perkins normaly they call it pressed amber but this is just plastic sadly, pressed amber won’t have swirls in it like this dose, pressed Amber is Usaly all one color since it is melted and pressed,

bj_perkins @rockcandy4u I kinda figured she was because a jeweler told me that Amber doesn’t normally have lines in the finished ones but I’m Neil it’s processed these are made like this and a seam may be pressed by the molding done but it’s waxy this way because it’s not had any treatment that creates the inclusions. Ya her closet is so over priced. And sh s mean.

I just saw your reply to me about pink Amber There is no single color that contains more succinic acid, although the lighter colors, namely milk / yellow butter amber followed by lemon, pink milk and honey, are one of the purest forms of amber mother nature creates. Hence, they do typically contain higher amounts of succinic acid.
