ANCHOR HOCKING RELISH DISH LASER BLUE FAIRFIELD 1970'S, DIVIDED EAPG 7" X 5", NM. Vintage from the 1970's. Materials: PRESSED Glass. BEAUTIFUL CLEAR LASER BLUE. THUMBRINT & STAR PATTERN. LOOKS LIKE A LOTUS FLOWER FROM THE SIDE. SCALLOPED RIM EDGES THAT GO DEEP.
RELISH DISH IS DIVIDED, SO YOU CAN PUT TWO DIFFERENT CONDIMENTS IN IT ON THE SERVING TABLE. POPULAR CHOICES ARE NUTS, OLIVES, PICKLES, MARASCHINO CHERRIES, DRIED FRUIT, PATE, SPREADABLE CHEESE, CURRIES, JAMS, ETC. DIVIDED DIAGONALLY TO ADD PANACHE!
In NEAR mint condition (I WOULD SAY MINT, BUT TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE...)! TRULY, YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE PRISTINE PIECE WITH ALMOST NO NATURAL FLAWS, LIKE AIR BUBBLES AND SUCH.
MeasureS: 7” (18 cm) long, 5” (13 cm) wide AND 1 1/2” (4 cm) deep. A brilliant bright laser blue coloured two-part relish dishes from Anchor Hocking in the Fairfield pattern. They look just like early American pattern glass with blue thumbprints and a star pattern at the base, as well as a ripple edge. It would suit many decor styles: mid century, contemporary, country or boho.
Would look great with nautical blue and whites, with your turquoise butter, print Pyrex or milk glass.
