Committed to making flattering and luxurious pieces that celebrate women, for Andrea, a career in design was inevitable, as she grew up “in the business”. Andrea worked with Franck Olivier, a French Pret-a-Porter company based in Paris, where she served as the director for U.S. exports collection. Inspired to launch her collection, Andrea created Jabé – a successful line of women’s apparel sold to boutique and department stores nationwide. From 1987 through 2011, Andrea and her husband Jo owned ar.b.inc which was a leading manufacturer for major retailers for 24 years. Exclusive designs were created for each client individualizing each retailer's programs. Andrea has designed exclusive collections for Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Boston Proper, and Dillard’s, among a few, designing the couture-like sensibility into everyday design at price sensitive costs. With her independent spirit, she has infused cutting-edge elements and effortless sophistication into every fashion piece.
