It’s written in the form of a story for older children about two high school boys who attend the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair with their tutor. But it’s also illustrated profusely with photos from the fair. The 1893 fair is often called “the fair that changed America.” It introduced 27 million people to new marvels like elevators, zippers, Cracker Jacks and the ferris wheel. Solid, intact hardcover with age-toned pages, no writing, no owner name, no folded pages. Boards show wear with some stains and spots and darkened spine. Please see photos. No DJ.
