ANTIQUE English Majolica Botanical Dog Raised Platter

Excellent condition for 100+ yr. old English Majolica piece! Circa late 1800s. Purchased from Atlanta antique store back in the 1980/1990s. Scalloped edge with handles, raised base platter in a botanical and dog motif in colors of green, brown and white/cream. Center of platter is somewhat concave like a bowl. Approximately 12” in diameter. No cracks or significant crazing that I could find. Outer edge has a few areas of missed glaze and light rubs (see photos) It’s important to note that Majolica pottery was all hand glazed and that each piece is unique. Colors and craftsmanship varied widely depending on the skill of the finisher. Measurements in photos. Piece will be double boxed. Cannot be bundled due to fragility and shipping weight restrictions.
