Very rare & old tin made in England by Barringer, Wallis & Manners. Mansfield. Tin company dates back to 1880. This Rarity of a Jack Daniels Collectors Ed. tin box was commemorated Jack Daniels when his whiskey was awarded the GOLD MEDAL by the St. Louis, MO. Expo for “old time” & hand made at the oldest registered distillery in the US. Very “rust”ic, as it does have visible rusty spots around edges- but I believe it adds a ton of character and doesn’t take away from the graphics on the tin of St. Louis. On the covers inside is a letter dated Oct, 6, 1906 written by Jack & Distillery Operators, Lynchburg, TN about why they box in tin. OFFERS ALWAYS APPRECIATED!! Thanks for taking a look!!
