ANTIQUE Mechanical Pencil Fob - Working with Lead

Antique chatelaine pencil fob, circa 1890, early 1900 Gold filled propelling mechanical pencil fob for a chatalaine - this would be a perfect pendant for a long Victorian watch chain to be worn around the neck - a perfect gift for notetakers, librarians and anyone who carries a pencil around! It has a bail opposite the lead end and a jump ring has been added. It is in working order and has lead still in it! Unmarked, unsigned. The pencil has a lot of surface scratches and discoloration around the bale end.
