ATOMIC STARBURST SUNBURST BROOCH - 1950s VINTAGE RIVETED RHINESTONES

Vintage shiny goldtone atomic sunburst (or starburst) brooch with a domed center enhanced with six rhinestone-set stars. Sixteen spokes surround this center, all finished with prong-set rhinestones. This 1950s brooch is 2" across. The outer rhinestones are held in riveted settings. This unusual pin is unmarked. There is a little "bump" on the back of one of the spokes (see 4th photo). I don't know what this is but maybe there was a pendant bail attached at some point. There are scratches in the gold finish on the dome & most of the rhinestones have clouded up a bit.
