The leather needs to be cleaned but not repaired. This bag shows some rubbing but let me repeat that there is no damage or smell to this bag. This beautiful yellow color can literally go with any season! It's not so buttery that it's just for spring or dark for fall. Chanel knocked it out of the park with this color choice.
