@dburris1030 I have written a lot of different stuff, from advertising/marketing copy to stories. In a few months I have a YA Sci-fi series coming out. If you read that sort of thing and are interested, I'll let you know when it's out. 😊

@dburris1030 Oh lordy, I hear you, sister. all I've done for the last week is run! My mom/grandmother/sister were all at my house through Christmas Eve, and then we went to my in laws for Christmas day. It's been fun, but now I'm the kind of done that involves parking myself on the sofa for three days until my brain stops swirling! Glad to hear that you had a good Christmas! I keep forgetting to ask how old your son is ... are you still in Santa-belief mode??

@rbtanger The discovery of Santa is a long story, sad story, another child clued him in, told him about all the mysteries of life, brat. Anyway we decided we loved the tradition so much we would just continue. Denver is now 16 and it's a race to see who gets up in the night to eat Santa's cookies and put unwrapped surprise small gifts under the tree like Santa would. It's really quite silly and a joy too! Glad you were an Elf on wheels and can now enjoy some quiet time. Soon winter will set in 💨👎

@tankar Hey! Thanks for asking. My father-in-law is doing really well. He got to go home 2 days earlier than we thought was possible and he's doing super well overall. We're so grateful. I, on the other hand, am kind of miserable with the flu. I got the shot, but as is all over the news: the virus mutated. Bleh. I'm binging on Netflix and eating Tylenol like it's a new food group! And to answer your question about writing, I do fiction. I own a tiny media company with two partners. I'm currently working on a new thing, a more serious novel. But I also have a new YA Sci-fi series coming out in the spring. If you like/read that sort of thing, I'll let you know when you can find it on Amazon. 😉

Poor baby! I feel for you. Yes, I heard the flu shot isn't as effective as they'd hoped. There's not a lot you can do other than muddle through it somehow. Popping Tylenol like jellybeans, watching Netflix & sleeping as much as possible sounds like the best medicine to me. Speaking of medicine, the last time I had the flu my doc prescribed Tamiflu. I'm evidently allergic to it because shortly after taking it I not only had the flu but HIVES from head to toe. Good times! Ha! So happy to hear your father-in-law is doing so well. I know you are all very relieved. I would love to know when your new book(s) are available. I am a voracious reader and enjoy many different genres so please do let me know. How exciting!! Thanks for the compliment on my closet. Your stuff is super cute! Love it. And I love your profile photo--I 💙 dunes. Ocean or Great Lake, I'll take either. When I put up more cool earrings I'll definitely tag you. I have a serious problem of buying waaay more stuff than I can ever wear. I think it comes from living in a big city--there are just so many good deals!
I have asthma, which is under control, but if I'm around cigarette smoke for any length of time I *will* have an attack. It's hard because I still have family that I love who smoke.

@brcamp One more thing: all writing is valuable as writing whether you get cash for it or not. Writing, even just words jotted down in a journal for yourself, have value. And writing is HARD. I am constantly aware of that. So even if you write for your own pleasure or purpose, just constructing those sentences is a kind of discipline and will make you more self-aware, more of a communicator. Value your writing, and value yourself for doing it! ☺💙

@rbtanger I was in the store getting cards for some under the weather friends and low and behold my eyes popped out of my head and I burst out laughing. Needles to say I was looked at strangely. I could not quit laughing, I saw a card that said "AMAZEBALLS" blazed in red across the front of this card. I could only think of you for you were the first person I heard use it and give power to the word. Now Hallmark has made it a card.
