Abstract Painting “Good Intentions” | 16 x 20 in

“Good Intentions” My first thought was “The Way” when I completed this painting. Upon looking at it again I saw it in a new light, or I should say darkness. Because it reminded me of Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” To actually think of how that looks can be terrifying because we think of good deeds(represented by the vibrant colors). But the corruption(represented by the distortion of the paint) comes in how and why we fulfill a “good” deed.
