Vintage Clear Crystal Glass Paperweight Large and small bubbles Cobalt Blue Made and signed by Adam Jablonski in Poland Measures 3" X 3" Adam Jablonski began creating stunning art glass in the early 1950s. He is unique among glass artists in that he actually held several patents in glassmaking technology including a patent covering a precise method for the marriage of glass and metal. This glassmaking method involves integrating threads of metal into the blown glass, creating very strong and stunning beautiful art glass. The metal also enhances the reflectivity of light from the glass. Jablonski's works have been featured in a number of museum exhibitions including the famed Corning Museum of Glass.
