Addison Shoe Company Steel-Toed Combat Boots - Vintage and Authentic

Made for the United States Military by the Addison Shoe Company in January of 1975. These boots are some of the most solidly made footwear there is. The sole was made by the Goodyear Tire Company. These boots are in excellent condition. The sole has no visible signs of wear, other than a slight discoloration of the stitching on the bottom of the boot. The leather is smooth and uncracked. Even the insides of them are clean. There are two things that need to be noted: The tongue of the left boot is a little bit damaged. It's visible in two photos and has been circled in red. As a practical matter, it is a minor flaw. It will not affect the boots' performance and isn't really visible when the boots are being worn. The second thing is that boots made in 1975 fit a little differently than combat boots which were made later. These are a little more snug on the foot than a modern 10.5.
