lettiepope @modiste , You know how some heels the strap at the toes hits just below your pinky toe when you have a wide foot and it cuts in and is super uncomfortable? The straps on this one come up a little further so it's not cutting into that widest part of your foot - does that make sense?

modiste @lettiepope yes it does! And I’m looking at the photos and I see that. It looks like the fabric around that area might have some give since it’s satiny? I have shoes that just come up around the widest part of my foot similar to these but it still hurts because it’s too tight. But they were thick leather. If you think there’s some give, I have hope!

modiste Or maybe you could just measure the width of the widest part of the foot? I have a pair of heels that fit well and they’re 3.5 across. I’m looking to purchase tonight or tomorrow since I’ll be in a wedding and have to hurry! Thank you!

lettiepope @modiste okay, go look at the photos - I added two. I tried to show the measurement at the widest spot. It looks less than 3 1/2, more like 3 1/4 I think…your thoughts?

modiste @lettiepope hmm. Ok I’ll ask one more question snd then leave it be. If you measure the widest part of your foot by standing in the ruler, then I’m know how your feet are compared to mine. I’m sorry for asking so many questions and I really appreciate it!

lettiepope @modiste when I put my foot on the ruler - the widest part is almost 3 1/2, but my feet fit comfortably in those shoes when I took photos. I didn’t have them on long, but I will say I have purchased several stilettos in that brand because they are comfortable - so hopefully you will find these will be comfortable for you!

lettiepope @faithc304 Do you mean panty hose - or are you actually talking about socks? I don’t believe this style of dressy heel is intended to be worn with socks.

lettiepope @faithc304 I can respect your decision to wear open toe dress heels with socks - that is certainly your personal choice, but I do not plan to take photos of these new heels in socks. That is not a choice I would make and not how I choose to advertise/portray these beautiful shoes. I also do not want to risk stretching them out since they are brand new.
