“People will call me a low down Abolitionist and despise me for keeping mum—but that don’t make no difference. I ain’t agoing to tell, and I ain’t agoing back there anyways.”
Like your jewelry to mean something? You'll love my handmade literature necklaces! This one depicts Mark Twain's American classic, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
This unisex necklace features (from left to right), first, a moneybag charm. Huck Finn runs away from financial security, representing that money not being tantamount to happiness. Next is a charm of shackles, to represent slavery that Huck Finn feels is wrong, even though his "conscience" (actually societal conventions of the time) tells him that it isn't. In the center is a wave connector, to represent the Mississippi River, which serves as a symbol of freedom. A silver charm of paddle ores and a book cover pendant hang from the wave connector. To its right are a dinghy boat pendant for the raft Huck and Jim travel on, representing their friendship. Last is a house charm, for the house of the civilized Widow Douglas. This necklace has been newly handmade just for you, is adjustable from 18 to 27 inches (can be altered upon request), and is from a smoke/pet free home.
