marissa44444444 @mariumbria because of the thickness of the jacket, I took the armpit to armpit measurement from the inside. It is 18 inches across.

marissa44444444 @mariumbria sleeves are fabric/felt lined. I think the sleeves would have been too cumbersome if they had the same thick fur lining as the inside of the jacket.
