Affix work pants (M)

You might think pants are a pretty settled pattern, but don't tell that to Kiko Kostadinov. Affix (now stylized AFFXWRKS) managed to take the humble work pant and recreate it in a stretchy, textured ripstop with a panel patterning that I can't quite wrap my head around. There's a felled seam where a crease might normally be in a dress pant for instance, giving it a weight that the fabric otherwise does not have. Very futuristic, but also not very popular since I don't think AFFXWRKS has a mod like this anymore. The pants feature wide belt loops, a rubber hangtag under the single rear patch pocket, two buttons, an elasticated waistband, and double fasteners at the waist. It's a great spring-summer pant that I just don't wear because when the weather gets hot, I sweat like a fat guy waiting for the buffet to be called open. I did have them hemmed to something like a 30" inseam because I am not a tall man.
