Patient-designer Kirsten Brown considers herself a survivor, a fact that’s highlighted on her contribution to the 2018 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Her women’s Air Max 97 ‘Doernbecher’ features a ‘SRVVR’ graphic printed in purple block lettering across the shoe’s black mesh upper. Additional unique design notes include a green ribbon on the outsole of the left shoe, representing heart transplant awareness, and a red ribbon on the opposite outsole for stroke awareness.
