Al Goodman and his Orchestra featuring selections from Rose Marie
Al Goodman was a conductor that recorded a number of records for RCA Victor in the middle to late 1940s and possibly into the 1950s. Most of his 78 rpm records were issued as "albums" which looked like books and generally consisted of multiple singles. The albums had a "K" prefix, whereas popular was "P".
With the introduction of the 45 rpm record by RCA Victor in March of 1949 RCA Victor reissued thousands of it's 78 rpm records in the new format. Al Goodman's records were reissued as 45 box sets with a prefix of "WK" on blue vinyl.
These are the rare 45rpm blue vinyl records. All 7 in the original RCA Victor paper sleeves. Excellent condition. Again, the only thing I have to go on is what I have seen on line with was 1 blue vinyl 45 for $6 not even with the set, neither with the sleeve nor box! This had it all. My step mother had stickers with her name on them on the records. If bought, I will be sure that any remains of them are removed.
So the price that I list is just a suggestion. Reasonable and preferably educated offers considered.
Thank you!!
