sammiej1983 @sjjeon I actually mainly buy and sell luxury items on a site with much stricter authentication requirements and procedures post-purchase, just an additional FYI. PM is not my main marketplace!

sammiej1983 @sjjeon As far as my own authentication procedures, I have a good idea of a product’s price and I’m not fooled by someone listing a $40K Hermes Birkin for $900 because it has a scratch (which I’ve seen on Et**! - they were distressing FAKES and selling them as real!). That’s one example, but I do my research and VC is pretty good with their authentication as well!!!

sammiej1983 Seller fees increase to their old rates at midnight tonight, so 8/24 (technically). So it’s a good time to buy whether it’s this or something else you’ve been eyeing, because sellers will have to reprice commensurate with the fee change. Apparently, sales were down across the board and that’s why the original fee structure is coming back. Frankly, it makes PM MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE TO SELL ON!!! I think they should’ve given buyers more time to get used to it! I think it’s been less than a month!
