happilymauid @jltellez I would not consider this navy. I have added a photo of the dress next to a navy jacket for color comparison. Hope this helps.

happilymauid Apparently there are technically many shades of navy blue so I guess it could be considered a lighter shade of it….in between navy and royal.

happilymauid @rh1989 yes it was worn once for less than 4 hours to a company event that required a wardrobe change. I would say it is on the lighter side but still heavy enough to give it some structure so it isn’t clingy to the body.
