I bought this as a gift for someone and then forgot to give it to them. 😬 It's new in the original bag and has never been worn. I'm not sure of the metal content, but I checked the Alex and Ani website and they say these are nickel free. I have a different number and the chain is adjustable in length by moving these two silver beads around-- sort of like adjusting a bolero tie. It's intuitive, but there are videos of how to do it online as well. Definitely a nice gift for someone who has 11 as their lucky number.
