SOLD Alexander McQueen vintage wool dress from SS 07 McQueen’s lauded Spring Summer 2007 collection Sarabande- (famed for that decaying flower finale gown), was inspired by 19th century silhouettes, Edwardia & to some extent his own robust archives. All these elements can be seen in this regal knee length dress, from the same collection. With an Edwardian style high collar that opens up to a bustier neckline, this gown is masterfully tailored to flatter the form. The fabric is 100% virgin wool in a dusty gray, that can be seen on looks 35 and 36 from the runway show. A wearable yet culturally significant archival piece from the master himself. Size on label: 42IT, approximately US6. Measurement estimates Bust: 34.5" Waist: 29” Length: 42” In very good condition. No visible damages, flaws or signs of alterations. Very minor discoloration in underarm.
