Alfred Shaheen Vintage Knit Dress and Bolero, Circa 1970’s

Size 8 Sleeveless knit dress, green, with self (narrow) straps to that tie into bows on the shoulder. The waist is elasticized (the elastic is still doing its job - most elastic stats to crumble on vintage pieces and loses its ability to work). Over the waist there is a double tie belt, comprised of the same narrow ties (like the shoulder ties) one green, one white, knotted together. The skirt section is adorned with a curved trail of lilies. The bolero is simple the sleeves are split. The condition of the dress and bolero are in “ like new” condition- it looks as though they resided in someone’s closet slumbering, just waiting for the right individual to come along to breathe new life into this beautiful ensemble.
