Alice + Olivia Jocelyn Ruffled Midi Dress

As a shorter person, I usually stay away from midis bc they make me look frumpy. This, though, looks absolutely elegant. Longer than I expected, the front ruffles nearly reach my ankles (masked critter is 5ft 3in for reference). The color is somewhere between pink and peach which really elevates it... pink might look too childish (it doesn't) and the warm color is still flattering for cool tones. The dress flows so beautifully when you move, and is lightweight enough to keep a slim silhouette when still. I was waring a camisole under this, the shirring was so forgiving you couldn't see it. The shirred bodice makes it very easy to get on and off and accommodates a size range. Even though the label is a 0, this could easily fit larger sizer as it stretches to fit. A zipper back enclosure makes it that much better. And can we appreciate that leg slit? The lacy bottom is very lightweight and has a wonderful swish to it that I hope was captured in the video. Diagonal tiers of lace meet at the side. Perfect dress for a weekend bag.
