Aloha Beaches painted on reclaimed wooden planks with a backdrop of monstera leafs. Inspired by my treasured years living on Hawaii. Add some aloha to your hale! Inspiration for the making of this beautiful sign came from the amazing years I lived on Hawaii. Made with reclaimed wood, the sign measures 21.5” x 15.25”. Working with reclaimed wood can be difficult due to the overall shape the wood is in. It can split, crack, splinter, and even disintegrate when you work with it. Trying to sand it, and prepare it, depending on the project can have its own degree of difficulty when you’re attempting to reach a certain level of symmetry or conjoining planks. Often times there is warping or bowed areas involved. This is what makes each piece unique and in my opinion adds to the overall beauty. The words are painted in shades of orange and the leaves have shades of green in them.
