Alopa Vintage 18K Yellow and White Gold Diamond Dragonfly Brooch Pin

Alopa is a Swiss firm that was famous for its interesting designs and meticulous workmanship. This beautiful piece features 17 natural baguette cut diamonds in the body which are G-H color, VS-SI clarity. It also features 54 round cut diamonds that are the same G-H color, VS-SI clarity. A listing on another site has the carat weight at over 1 tcw which seems reasonable for the size and number of diamonds, but I am not a jeweler so that weight may or may not be accurate. The piece is made in Yellow & White Gold and weighs approx. 6.1g. This brooch is stunning. The first 3 pictures are of the identical item but are much better than I can take. The rest are my pictures with some of them being under a lighted loupe so you can see the hallmarks. It has an amazing sparkle which none of the pictures capture. It is hallmarked Alopa and 18k.
