GUC / From Amanda Wakeley's 'Sposa' collection (AW108), this Cleopatra dress has been worn by celebrities and myself! :) The Grecian-inspired gown is backless & features show-stopping strands of silver beading that cascade delicately across the back & is embellished across the bodice. Flattering, A-line cut, finished w a coordinating tie back belt (incl) shaping the gown in an effortlessly relaxed fit. !! Comes w extra silk georgette (directly from AW) Gown purchased for $6,425 from The White Dress in Costa Del Mar, CA. Worn twice: my wedding & a ball. Long train expertly hemmed (removed) by seamstress skilled in georgette silk & professionally dry-cleaned twice. Rendered by The White Dress-approved venders experienced in Silk Georgette. (Margaret's Cleaners in La Jolla, CA). Palm-sized mark on the mid/bottom right side (NOT on silk underlay). Because of the volume of the silk it is undetectable when worn. Spot clean and steam will do wonders. Slight discoloration underarms. Small mark on bodice adjacent to beading.
