Amanda Wakeley 🇬🇧 Royal Designer Draped Goddess Dress Pale Grey/Gray

Amanda Wakeley is a British designer, popular with both Kate Middleton and Megan Markle, who was favored by Princess Diana. Her designs have been described as "strong, but delicate." Simultaneously edgy and ethereal, this elegant gown is every bit that. The fabric, a double layer of 100% viscose, drapes glamorously and flows beautifully. The color is difficult to describe; it has a bit of a beige undertone, but is more grey than white and can look a little warmer or cooler, depending on the lighting. I'd almost call it a dove grey, but paler. This shade is contrasted by the sleek, black, 100% silk ribbon detail that fastens in the back. I attempted some research on this dress and found a top that appears to be from the same collection. The color is "Antique." The original price of the blouse alone was £420, or $514, so I can only estimate the original price of the gown. OFFERS WELCOME. The stunning Michelle is 5'6" (+heels) and 32-25-34. The dress is tagged UK size 8/US 6, but the ribbon that forms the empire waistband was tight on Michelle's 29" underbust. Unlike the viscose, the ribbon has NO stretch. Either it's 6P, or Wakeley's designs run very small. This red-carpet-worthy dress is for a fierce, otherworldly goddess (like you and Michelle!) and will have you ready for your next event! It has several pinholes/snags, slight discoloration, and two small tears on seams. The worst of these are pictured, but are barely visible and disappear in the drapes of the fabric.
