Amazing Miriam Haskell Heraldic brooch

Beautiful, iconic pin done in her signature Russian gold plating. The pin depicts a gryphon, a legendary creature with body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle. The pin is in a shield shape, 3” high and 21/2” wide. These pins are circa 1960’s -1970’s. The pin is in overall very good condition. The surface on the front is intact with a few scratches that add to its appearance. The back has some finish issues, please see at photos. Marked on the back with Miriam Haskell as shown. It is lightweight and a great pin to wear on a coat, hat or scarf!
