Amazing Vintage Ostrich Leather Bag from 1950’s

This wonderful vintage bag was made from white ostrich leather in the late 1940s /early 1950s. It is a structured oval shaped bag crafting of the period with a wide base, double face gold goddess decor on both sides of the bag. The purse has a square gold framed metal clasp closure at front-face. The strap is a fabulous gold swirl designed hardware that is non-detachable. Inside, it is lined with patent white and a rich purple leather and has a maker’s label for “The Elaine Shop”.
