Amazing quality vintage floor length velvet jacket with quilting details. Baby doll height seam, quilting above that with knot closures and two snaps. Whether you're using it as a smoking jacket, evening wear, for over ball gown, this jacket is absolutely fabulous. Pockets at the hips, top is fitted. elphant @heathercraft1 hi! So sorry for the delayed response. From shoulder seam (where it connects to the arm) it's 56" long. I'm 5'9" and it fits me beautifully.

elphant @maryellen4q hi! Below the third fastening, the coat falls loose, so the waist is free! The fitted part is 12” from the shoulder down, and measures 14” across. Armpit measurement is 16”. Full length is 56”

elphant PHOTO WITH RED CIRCLES: detail of the marks on the back, not stains. “STAIN” ON FRONT: detail next to my hand at a different angle (hardly visible from straight on) not sure if it’s a stain or imperfection in the dye process.
