American Coin Treasures 1909-2021 America's Great Lincoln Penny Collection

This collector's set of Lincoln Pennies presented from American Coin Treasures includes a penny for every year between 1909 and 2021, plus three additional designs from 2009. There's are spaces for a 2022 through 2032 pennies in the folio (coins not included). In 1909 the Lincoln Cent was introduced to honor the 100th Anniversary of Lincoln's birth. The obverse featured a portrait of Lincoln, while the reverse showed the denomination flanked by two ears of wheat. The coin's designer, Victor David Brenner added his initials to the reverse, creating a wave of criticism from the public. The mint Immediately removed the initials only to add them again in 1918. At that time, initials appeared in small letters at the truncation of the bust. This 115-piece coin set comes packaged in a 11-1/2" x 8-1/2" folio book. The coins are a mix of circulated and uncirculated conditions, and the photos provided are stock images and may not be the exact set you receive.
