American Cowboy Numbered and Signed by Author Caleb Pirtle First Edition 1975

This is an amazing book exploring the life and times of the American Cowboy in art and words. This is a 1st edition by Oxmoor House Publishing. It comes with a dust jacket that was stuck to the leather binding of the book. After some intense work, the jacket released but it shows signs of the work that was done to loosen and release it. There are no tears in the jacket, just creases and discolorations. On the inside there is evidence of the mildew where it was stuck. But, it did its job and protected the book inside. I treated the leather binding and it looks incredible for a vintage item. The cover of the book is in a fabric (it looks like a woven linen) which has some broad discoloration on the front and back. The inside pics show the author’s signature and the number sequence of the book. It would make a great read, and displayed on a coffee table, a great conversation piece. The measurements are 12” x 12” with 153 pages. Thanks for looking!
