Includes: Doll + Outfit Hair Extension Isabelle is a nine (later ten) year-old girl who lives in Washington, DC with her parents, Leo and Nancy, and her older sister Jade, who is twelve. She is enrolled in her dream school, Anna Hart School of the Arts, which Jade also attends. Nancy is a textile artist and Leo is a hospital administrator and a jazz musician. She also has a white kitten named Tutu. Isabelle loves to dance and performs in ballet and modern dance. However, she isn't too confident in her abilities, feels overshadowed, frequently compares herself to other dancers, and gets performance anxiety. One of the reasons why Isabelle feels overshadowed is because Jade is one of the star performers in the school and Isabelle is constantly compared to her. She later learns that she's a natural leader, great at calming down others, good at advising them in how to perform better, and cheering up other anxious performers. Jade says that she loves to help people. Isabelle loves to sew and design her own dance costumes and her teachers often like her to help design costumes.
