I found this vintage American Girl Summer Riding Dress and Hat (also known as Josefina's Summer Outfit) tucked away in a closet at an estate sale. This summer outfit was introduced to Josefina's Collection in 1998 and retired in 2018. It is associated with the book Josefina Saves the Day. DETAILS: * The doll is not included. Only selling outfit! * What you’re buying: 1998 American Girl Josefina dress with leather vest, hat, fan, fan holder and yellow fringe rebozo with flower embroidery. * About the dress: It’s a short-sleeved, calf length orange print dress. Fabric is orange with dark orange stripes and white flowers. Puffed short sleeves. Gathered empire-style bodice. A-line skirt. Three tiered ruffled bottom hem. Velcros up the back. * About the vest: Leather bolero style vest. Circular flower border and flower design on sides. The vest comes with a card explaining that variations in the leather are to be expected. * About the Straw flat hat. Brown and white braided trim at brim. Three brown beads and white fringe on side. Leather chinstrap with brown adjustment bead * Comes with Josefina Birthday story * Comes with a collapsable fan and fan holder * Comes with a lovely gold fringed revisit with lovely embroidered flowers. * Comes with original AG hanger * Vintage, never been used.
