Amethyst & pearl necklace

This semiprecious two-strand necklace was custom-made by California jewelry artist Gayle Mayhew. The amethyst strand is 16 inches, and the violet gemstones vary in size from 1/2 inch to 1 inch long. Amethyst is said to bring emotional balance and peace. The 18” freshwater pearl strand is accentuated with a half-inch amethyst nugget. Pearls symbolize wisdom gained through experience. Sterling silver fittings and clasp finish this beautiful one of a kind piece.
