Amy Kuschel Pfeiffer Wedding Gown

This gown has quite a story! I purchased it on the last day Amy was accepting orders at her famed custom bridal salon in San Francisco. Like so many others, my March 2020 wedding was cancelled due to Covid. I was finally able to wear it in 2022. I hope the next owner enjoys this gown as much as I have. It was a joy to wear. This is from her custom bridal collection, not her BHLDN collaboration. This is the description of the Pfeiffer gown is from her former website: "Stunning and majestic in our beautiful Heirloom English Rose lace, our Pfeiffer gown’s sheer off-the-shoulder neckline is inherently romantic and classically elegant. The natural scalloped edge of this delicate, graceful lace frames the shoulders and neckline with feminine appeal. We’ve added a tailored bow waistline and banded hemline of Italian silk mikado to Pfeiffer's dramatic, iconic trumpet silhouette. Made with love in San Francisco." The gown is made of heirloom english rose lace over satin. It has a beautiful cathedral train with a 3-point bustle for dancing. All additional pieces of lace and material from the alterations process are included. The cleaning process was not able to restore the underside of the train perfectly, but none of the remaining discoloration is visible from the front (see picture). There is a small tear in the lace at the left underarm where the bust and the shoulder lace connect (see picture). Accessories: veil and two belts included (one is beaded, one bow).
