*** Very good to excellent condition. Upon inspection with a magnifying glass, I
have found no scratches, chips, cracks, or staining. There are, however, signs
of use of the handles where the gold is wearing off.
*** I have not cleaned this item. I try not to over handle my antiques.
This exquisite Nippon bowl is a true masterpiece of Asian art pottery. The round serving bowl, measuring 9 1/4" at handles and 2 3/8" in height, features a stunning hand-painted lake scene pattern with gold trim. It is a rare antique piece from Japan, dating back to the early 1900s (Time Period Manufactured: 1919-1921) and is perfect for all occasions.
The Asian-themed bowl is made of high-quality porcelain and is wipe-cleaned with a dry cloth. It is an original piece and comes with a painted backstamp. The set includes one piece of the bowl. The handles show age where gold is worn off.
